CURRENT OPENINGS

Sub Editors

  • Write and edit compelling news stories based on filed reports.
  • Ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and readability.
  • Summarize or expand stories depending on editorial needs.
  • Create headlines, captions, and SEO-friendly titles.
  • Check content for bias, legal risks, and factual integrity.
  • Proofread pages, work with designers for layout integrity.
  • Coordinate with photo desk and wire services for visuals.
  • Ensure newsroom style, tone, and language consistency.

Experience with online publishing and newsroom CMS is a plus.

Reporters

  • Research, investigate, and report on assigned news beats.
  • Conduct interviews, cover live events, and follow breaking stories.
  • Maintain a strong network of contacts and tipsters.
  • File stories within tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the digital desk and editorial team.
  • Pitch original features, exclusives, and follow-ups.

Fluent Urdu/English reporting skills required. Regional coverage is a bonus.

Publication Designers

  • Translate news into powerful visual journalism.
  • Design layouts using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop.
  • Create charts, infographics, maps, and visual explainers.
  • Collaborate with sub-editors, reporters, and photo desk.
  • Ensure layout quality across e-paper, mobile, and desktop.
  • Stay up-to-date with global editorial design trends.

Fresh graduates from design schools are welcome. Print or editorial experience preferred.

English Copy & Concept Writer (TV & Print)

  • Proofread headlines, promos, print ads, and channel IDs.
  • Develop concepts, taglines, and AV ideas for promotions.
  • Translate content from Urdu to English, keeping clarity intact.
  • Collaborate with design teams to match copy with visuals.
  • Write web-friendly copy with SEO understanding.

Should have a sharp eye for tone, headlines, and detail. Bilingual proficiency required.

Web Designer / UI Developer

  • Design visually striking, responsive web layouts.
  • Develop HTML/CSS templates, optimize UX/UI.
  • Create on-brand visual experiences across mobile and desktop.
  • Work closely with developers, editors, and product managers.
  • Ensure cross-browser and multi-device compatibility.
  • Maintain design standards and user flow consistency.

Requirements:

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design.
  • Strong grip on Figma, Photoshop, or Adobe XD.
  • Up-to-date with current web standards & trends.
